Updated: Jul 14, 2020

On October 22 – 23, 2019, the Financial Crimes Team partnered with the Judicial Education Institute (JEI) of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court to host a civil asset recovery advocacy training and mock trial skills session for the High Court of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Five regional attorneys and two High Court Judges from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines attended the workshop. The goal of the training is to enhance participants’ capacity to build civil asset recovery cases, identify challenges and solutions in live cases, and increase their level of confidence in case analysis and preparation. The JEI requested additional advocacy training in the area of financial crimes, including money laundering.
